For eBay, Vinted and Facebook Marketplace sellers
Turn “collection only” into “delivered today”.
Sofas, appliances, bikes, car parts, PCs: the things that don’t fit in a parcel and don’t sell because the buyer won’t drive over. We collect from you and put it in the buyer’s hands the same day, with photo and signature proof you can use if they ever open a case.
Run by an eBay seller. We know what a “not as described” case costs you.
How it works for a sale
Four steps. The buyer never has to collect, and you never have to drive.
- Step 1
Offer delivery
Put “local delivery available” in the listing or agree it in messages. Add the delivery price to the item, or invoice it through eBay.
- Step 2
Book in a minute
Your postcode to the buyer's, pick the vehicle, choose Marketplace order as the goods type, pay by card or on account.
- Step 3
We collect and photograph
Driver photographs the item's condition at collection, loads it alone (nothing else on board), drives direct.
- Step 4
Buyer signs, you get the PDF
Photo at the door, buyer's name and signature, GPS and time. The PDF lands in your inbox. Send the buyer the tracking link while it's on the way.
Proof that holds up in a case
A Royal Mail tracking number says “delivered”. Ours says who took it, what it looked like, where the van was and when, with the buyer’s signature on the page.
- Close-up photo of the item at collection and at delivery
- Buyer's printed name and signature on the proof of delivery
- GPS position and timestamp for every step
- PDF emailed to you the moment it's delivered, stored on your account
- Live tracking link you can forward to the buyer

Tips from a seller who uses this
- Price delivery into the listing for your local area. “Free delivery within 10 miles” on a £300 sofa converts far better than “collection only” and costs you less than the discount you’d give to shift it.
- Send the tracking link in eBay messages. It shows the van moving and stops the “where is it?” messages.
- Mark dispatched in eBay with “Other courier” and paste the job reference. Upload the POD PDF if a case is opened.
- Use Marketplace order as the goods type. It tells the driver to photograph condition at both ends.
Questions sellers ask
- Can buyers choose Swiftline at eBay checkout?
- No. eBay's checkout only lists its partner carriers. Instead, you offer delivery in the listing ("local delivery available, from £X") or agree it in messages, book with us, and send the buyer the tracking link. Most sellers add the delivery price to the item price or send a separate invoice through eBay.
- Does your proof of delivery help if a buyer opens an 'item not received' case?
- Yes. Every job records a photo at the door, the receiver's name, their signature, the GPS position and the time, in a PDF you can upload to the case. For items over £450 eBay asks for signature on delivery; we capture one on every job, not just high-value ones.
- What about 'arrived damaged'?
- Choose the Marketplace order goods type when you book. The driver photographs the item close up at collection as well as at delivery, so you have before-and-after evidence with timestamps.
- Can you collect from my storage unit or a different address?
- Yes. Collection and delivery can be any two addresses within our coverage; your home, a lock-up, a self-storage unit or the buyer's workplace.
- How fast?
- Collection across Birmingham is usually within the hour and the item goes straight to the buyer: no depot, no sorting. You can also book for tomorrow morning if the buyer wants a slot.
- I sell a lot. Can I get an account?
- Yes. Account customers book without paying up front, get a standing discount on the rate card and one itemised invoice each month with every job reference and proof of delivery.
Selling more than a few a month?
A seller account gets you a standing discount, booking without paying up front, and one invoice with every proof of delivery attached.
